This explains the instability we have been experiencing lately. By using strong elliptic curve encrytption techniques coupled with clever statistical cloaking algorithms, this hacker was able to avoid detection until today. The intrusion was eventually uncovered when several major Internet Service Providers (including aol.com and msn.com) traced back the origins of their email Spam and discovered that 42% OF ALL SPAM had originated from math.gatech.edu. The hacker, who goes by the name of "Loof Lirpa", was arrested in Brussels, Belgium this morning. He claimed that the reason he targeted math.gatech.edu servers was a combination of the high bandwidth available on the Georgia Tech network and the efficient hardware and software configuration on the School of Math servers. The FBI has been informed of this security breach, and, as a result, we have had to turn over all incoming and outgoing email to the authorities in the Bush administration. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Sincerely, The Computer Support Group
